I was working part-time at NPRDucati when I found my bike.  I knew I didn't want one of the shiny sexy new Ducs sitting in the showroom. I am just too hard on my toys. I needed something that could get (and stay) dirty. A bike that fit my lifestyle; Something powerful, but not so powerful I was afraid of it.
My friend Katie and I playing in Charleston, SC

So I asked Paul (the best guy in the world) if we could just build me something from all the parts he had (...has) laying around. He laughed. And then showed me Wellington. She needed a tank and some tender, loving care from a knowledgeable mechanic. For me, it was pretty much love at first sight.

She is a 2006 Ducati 620 Multistrada. She's light and fast, fun and has a sensitive throttle ;) She fits my personality well; I take her off roads and off-off-roads, uptown and downtown.  I haven't updated her (yet) but I keep threatening to Mad Max her.  Who knows, I may even train my dog to ride with me :)
